    Evening Programs Office

    In keeping with our philosophy that learning is a lifelong process, Dillard University is introducing the Evening Program, a unique extension of the university curriculum designed to service nontraditional students. The Evening Program will offer online classes, evening classes, online/hybrid classes, & weekend classes that can be used in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Courses offered are designed to accommodate nontraditional students’ challenging and busy lifestyles.


    Through the Evening Program, Dillard University continues its longstanding tradition of providing a well-rounded, comprehensive liberal arts program in the areas of nursing, the natural & social sciences, and humanities along with business, mass communications, social welfare and criminal justice.




    Dillard University offers three majors for adult students in the Evening Program in pursuit of a degree for the 2016 – 2017 academic year:

    • Accounting
    • Financial Economics
    • Business Administration
    • RN to BSN Program
    • Criminal Justice

    Concentrations in Management  & Marketing


    All students in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree will receive the degree from Dillard University’s College of Business provided that all degree requirements are met. In the case that course scheduling does not permit a class to be offered in the evening/weekend/online. Students will be advised of courses offered during the day.  Proper notification will be given in that rare instance.


    Based on students’ interest and enrollment numbers, additional majors will be added in the future.


    The goal of Dillard University is to maintain an affordable tuition cost for the Evening Program.  Eligible students for financial aid are encouraged to complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to identify all possible financial awards.     Admissions Requirements

    Applicants must submit the following documents to

    the Office of Evening Program:

    • Application for Admission
    • Official High School Transcript or GED Scores
    • Official ACT/SAT Scores for applicants under the  age of 23
    • Official Transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
    • $36.00 Application Fee

    *Admissions decisions are made based upon each student’s academic record and determined by theOffi ce of the Evening Program.


    Transferring Your Credits

    Each student comes to us with a different academic background. We accept transfer units from a variety of sources, such as community colleges, other universities, advanced-placement credit, IB and CLEP. Upon receipt of offi cialtranscripts and score reports, your academic work will be evaluated to determine which courses aretransferrable and can apply towards to completion of your degree.
