Dillard University to Close Tomorrow in Compliance with the Mayor’s Office


Dillard University will resume normal operations on Wednesday, August 30 and classes will be held. Please check dillard.edu/emergency & e2campus alert for any additional updates.

NEW ORLEANS--
The Mayor of New Orleans has issued a statement urging residents to “stay home” and “off the streets” tomorrow, August 29. In compliance with the Mayor’s request, the University will close tomorrow.

Dillard University has a comprehensive emergency management plan. The University is prepared to protect its students, faculty and staff in emergency situations. The Emergency Preparedness Team will continue to monitor the weather and city officials' recommendations.  A message regarding the University’s status beyond tomorrow will be issued on Tuesday evening. We urge all off-campus students, and personnel to take caution as you move about the city. All essential personnel should report according to your supervisor’s instructions. The dining schedule for residential students is below.
