The 70th Joint Annual Meeting of BKX and NIS, will be hosted by University of the District of Columbia, Washington DC.
The meeting will take place on March 13-17, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Reston, Reston, VA.

(Abstracts received after December 14, 2012 will NOT be considered for any cash prizes presented by either BKX or NIS. Abstracts received after this date will be tagged as "Late Submission" in the program book and late abstracts will not be judged for awards.)

ONLY a single abstract may be submitted by every presenter and each submitter will be sent an automated response upon receipt of the abstract submission.
E-mail notifications indicating abstract acceptance will be sent to the presenter/supervisor on or about February 1, 2013. For presentations in Graduate Symposium A (see below for details) one must submit an abstract online by December 14, 2012 and a corresponding 4-5 page manuscript via e-mail to
