Payment of dues allows an alum to vote in elections and on formal decisions of the chapter. While the organization encourages the payment of dues, it is not a requirement to work with the organization, attend meetings, or participate in the chapter's events. If you have any questions about the organization or its events, we invite you to contact your local officers or the national organization. Dues paid to the National Alumni Association or a local chapter are not counted as gifts toward the Dillard University.
National Alumni Association Dues
One must pay dues to a local chapter in order to become a member; the chapter then forwards these dues to the national organization on the alum's behalf. If you are located in a city that does not have a chapter, you may pay dues directly to the national organization and become a member-at-large. Payment for national membership should be made payable to "Dillard University National Alumni Association" and mailed to the financial secretary of the National Alumni Association:
