    Jazz Journey Event at Dillard University Featured on PDF Print E-mail

    On Thursday, January 12, 2012, the Jazz Journey concert in Lawless Chapel at Dillard University featuring Rene Marie was featured on The event took place on Friday, January 13, beginning at 7 p.m. Presented by the Jazz and Heritage Foundation, the concert was part of a larger series, intended to bring jazz music to local communities.

    On Wednesday May 11, 2011, The American Institute of Architects hosted a forum at Dillard University about the transformation of Elysian Fields Avenue which is located a few blocks from Dillard's campus. The AIA introduced their ideas of having Elysian Fields completely redone to include a bike lane, mural, farmers markets, a lushly planted neutral ground and small parks, among other things.
