Dillard University admits applicants who possess high standards of scholarship, serious and realistic educational goals, potential for service and leadership, and the personal characteristics of honesty, loyalty and self-respect. The university does not make any distinction as to religion, race, or gender in the admission of its students. Non-Matriculating/Special Students are classified as students who are not seeking a degree from Dillard University. Students can be auditing a course, visiting for an academic semester or year or brushing up on certain skills to excel in their career field.
Application fee of $40.00 via check or money order payable to Dillard University. Fee Waivers are accepted)-NACAC, College Board, Financial Hardship Letter, Free/Reduced Lunch Letter
Students must provide proof of good academic standing from their previous institution via a course approval form, academic standing letter or an official college transcript. All requirements can be obtained from their Registrar’s Office.
Those students seeking to audit a course, must provide proof of the completion of any required prerequisite course(s) prior to seeking enrollment into said course(s).
While Dillard University has rolling admissions, we HIGHLY encourage all applicants to complete the application process by the priority deadlines mentioned below.
