Transfer Student Admission Requirements

Dillard University evaluates the transcripts of transfer applicants (students who have been enrolled at another college or university on a part-time or full-time basis, not including concurrently enrolled high school students) in accordance with its own courses of study and requirements for graduation. Applicants should note that the university accepts no more that seventy-five (75) semester hours of transfer credit. 

Applicants desiring to transfer to Dillard University must submit the following credentials to the Office of Recruitment, Admissions and Programming for admission consideration:

Official transcript(s) from all accredited institutions previously attended

A minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average from last college attended.

$40.00 application fee

*Transfer applicants with less than 24 credit hours are required to also submit their high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores

 

Transfer applicants must be in good academic standing at their previous institution. Students who are under suspension from another institution are ineligible for admission to Dillard University.

 

*Preliminary transcript evaluations are completed after the student has submitted their application for admission and all official transcripts.
