Alumni Awards

Our annual Alumni Awards are a celebration of the achievements of Dillard University alumni and the legacy that they are leaving for current students, the communities in which these alumni reside and communities around the world.

AWARD CRITERIA

1. Nominees must have earned a degree from Dillard University.

2. Nominations must be accompanied by letters of support, updated curricula vitae, resumes, or related articles.

3. Nominees must be committed to the growth and enhancement of Dillard University.

AWARDS

Dave Dennis Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is based on national and international distinction in one's field and significant contribution to humankind.

Henry "Plook" Lucas Service Award

This award shall be presented to an alumnus who has exhibited significant leadership through service to his/her Alma Mater.

Justice Revius O. Ortique Professional Excellence Award

This award shall honor an alumnus who has attained high achievement in his/her career field.

Young Alumni Award

This award will be presented to an alum or alumni who matriculated Dillard University within the last 15 years and who have a significant record of career and/or civic achievement and promise in their profession.
