NEW ORLEANS – The Center for Racial Justice will host former United States Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen on Monday, April 10 at 6 p.m. in Georges Auditorium in the Professional Schools and Sciences Building.

The purpose for Rosen’s visit is to engage students in dialogue about the justice system and share insight into his 30 plus year career journey. The discussion with Rosen will be moderated by Hersy Jones, board member for the Center for Racial Justice, and Criminal Justice major Alexis Campbell ’23. The discussion will cover topics such as criminal justice reform, civil rights and policing, and the opioid crisis.

Rosen has served in the administrations of Presidents Donald Trump and George W. Bush. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, he was a senior partner at the law firm Kirkland & Ellis, which is the same firm chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mike Jones, currently serves as partner.
