Criteria for selecting Financial Aid Recipients and Determining Awards:

Once the student completes the FAFSA, the Federal Government will use the information provided on the FAFSA to determine the Expected Family Contribution (EFC).  The EFC and other information is used to determine which Federal Aid Programs the student is eligible to receive.

All students who are meeting Federal, State and Institutional Requirements will be considered for Financial Aid.  The student must have a valid Student Aid Report (SAR), which is received from the FAFSA, and all required documents on file to be considered for Institutional, some State and all Federal Student Aid Programs.

The Federal Pell Grant eligibility is determined by the Federal Government and there is a 600% cap (or 6 year limit) associated with receiving this grant program.  When determining a student's eligibility for the Federal Direct Loan Program, the student's grade level, dependency status and aggregate loan history is used.
