Below is a comprised list of scholarship engines and programs from various outside sources. This list will be updated regularly as the office is made aware of more scholarship opportunities.

We urge all students to build profiles on the following scholarship engines so that they are aware of potential awards as they become available. Here are the site that students most typically use to search for grant awards.

United Negro College Fund: The nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization

Hispanic College Fund: As an HSF Scholar, you will have access to HSF’s invaluable Scholar Support Services and be eligible to receive a scholarship, depending on available funds. 

Scholarship America: Scholarship America’s mission is to eliminate barriers to educational success so that any student can pursue their dream.

FastWeb: A free scholarship search platform that connects students to college scholarships, trade school scholarships, and financial aid tools.

Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance: State Aid Program (TOPS) A program of the Louisiana Board of Regents, administering the state’s scholarship and grant programs, and the state’s Internal Revenue Code Section 529 college savings program.

United Methodist Scholarships: Supports the 11 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) related to the church — the largest number of black colleges and universities receiving funding from any church body in the United States.

Gates Millennium Scholarships: Promote academic excellence and to provide an opportunity for outstanding minority students with significant financial need to reach their highest potential.
