Below is a comprised list of scholarship engines and programs from various outside
sources. This list will be updated regularly as the office is made aware of more scholarship
opportunities.
We urge all students to build profiles on the following scholarship engines so that they are aware of potential awards as they become available.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Applications are now being accepted for scholarships offered by United Methodist Higher Education Fund (UMHEF) for the 2023-2024 school year. UMHEF awards nearly $2 million each year to nearly 1,000 students. MyDU Students attending Dillard University and are active members of one of these churches: LAWLESS MEMORIAL Chapel (Check with Rev. Brisbon) in the office of the Chapel) The United Methodist Church, the Global Methodist Church, the African Methodist Episcopal Church, or the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church must apply by March 1, 2023.

Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. - Omicron Lambda Omega Chapter Leah Gordon Scholarship
Open to all students with at least 24 hours earned and a 3.0 GPA.
This scholarship encourages young minority women to pursue an education and later a career in the geosciences.
Provides over $600K in scholarships every year to at least one student in every state.
Offers scholarships between $1,000 & $5,000
Davidson Fellows Scholarship Program
Provides scholarships in the S.T.E.M. programs
C.I.A. Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Developed for minority and disabled students
Scholarship fund for students devoted to social justice and social change

Endowment fund for students enrolled in science & technical fields at HBCUs
Tom Joyner Foundation Full Ride Scholarship
Offers a full ride scholarship to one student attending a HBCU
The program managed by the UNCF, offers renewable scholarship opportunities to exemplary
undergraduate students in Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, History, Philosophy
or Political Science. Deadline to apply is July 15
Provides internships in various technical and non-technical areas
NASA Aeronautics Scholars Program (Senior phyics students)
Radio, Television, Digital News Association
Offers various scholarships to students in journalism and broadcasting programs
Provides between $1,000 & $10,000 to minority students enrolled in technical degree programs
Wells Fargo CollegeSTEPS Program
Provides $1,000 scholarships to new and current students
